There is no party like a “Dead Man’s Party,” so why not on the Fourth of July?
Our favorite Halloween band, which is also our favorite Cinco de Mayo band, shall now be our favorite Fourth of July band.
Oingo Boingo Former Members will help us celebrate all things America at Riviera Village Fireworks in Redondo Beach.
The 3rd Annual July 4th Riviera Village Fireworks Show will feature Oingo Boingo Former Members, Jeremy Buck, and Feed the Kitty for the musical entertainment. Of course there will be plenty of food, beer, and wine, all leading up to the fireworks show at 9:20 p.m.
We can expect to see original members Johnny Vatos, Steve Bartek, John Avila, Sam “Sluggo” Phipps, and Carl Graves, along with Brendan McKian, Mike Glendinning, Freddy Hernandez, Brian Swartz, and Ryan Dragon.
As always, I feel it is my duty to swear to you they are an amazing band to see live!
Oingo Boingo Former Members will do the songs we hold dear; perhaps “No One Lives Forever,” “Weird Science,” “Only a Lad,” “Just Another Day,” “Who Do You Want to Be,” “Nothing to Fear (But Fear Itself),” and “Grey Matter.”
A nice little bonus – a portion of the proceeds will benefit Keep the Esplanade Beautiful, a non-profit entity.
