Life as we once knew it is back, concerts are here and bands are touring! One band that will be making their rounds and sharing their pink flamingo decor later this year through the country is Arizona’s own Authority Zero.
Authority Zero will be touring their new album, “Ollie Ollie Oxen Free” starting in October 2021 and keep it going until the beginning of February 2022 throughout North America.
Locally for their only Southern California show, they will be playing at Alex’s Bar in Long Beach on December 15th.
If you haven’t been to Alex’s Bar, here’s a small bit of knowledge that will make you B-line for the venue; If you are a “Truebie” you might already know this fun fact but Alex’s Bar and stage is the backdrop for “Fangtasia” a vampire bar in HBO’s popular series, True Blood. The same stage where Eric Northman sat upon his throne and motioned to Sookie Stackhouse to come speak with him is the same stage (same red curtains and all) that will grace the presence of Authority Zero later this year.
Authority Zero has been giving us some of the best reggae/skate punk mixes on the planet since 1994 and they continue to be a driving force in scene. They also have some of the coolest merchandise around!
