If you have ever fantasied about being an Avenger, Disneyland California Adventure Park is turning that fantasy into a reality! The new Avengers Campus is opening June 4, 2021, and it has so much to fulfill your Avenger needs.
The new land will include brand new attractions like WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure. This family-friendly 3D interactive game takes guests aboard a WEB Slinger vehicle where they must help stop the latest threat. This ride, unlike many of Disneyland’s other rides, does not have any height or weight restrictions and is appropriate for all ages.
The new Spiderman attraction joins the Guardians of the Galaxy-Mission: BREAKOUT ride. Although it opened in 2017, with more than a year of being closed, this ride is still new to many. On this ride you will experience one of six different storylines. You will accompany Star Lord on his harrowing missions to save his fellow Guardians; all while rocking out to his awesome mix tapes and enjoying cutting-edge special effects.
After you’ve worked up an appetite saving the Universe, you can hop over to Pym Test Kitchen. Join Ant-Man and The Wasp as they lead the research in food science and dine on some inventive-sized entrees, tiny treats and shareable bites that provide the perfect power up. Don’t forget to stop by The Collector’s Warehouse where you can grab some superhero costumes, action figures, collectables and more! Want some of the latest and greatest in superhero gear? You will have another option when the WEB Suppliers opens on June 4th. WEB members can get access to cutting-edge inventions and technologies developed by the Worldwide Engineering Brigade’s brightest minds.
These attractions are just the tip of the superhero iceberg. The next phase of construction – which has yet to be announced – will include the completion of the Dr. Strange attraction Sanctum. Here you will trek through the ancient ruins and discover the secrets of the amazing Orb of Cagliosta. Last and most certainly not least is the Avengers Headquarters. This flagship attraction is where you will be greeted by the bravest superheroes and you will fight alongside Captain America, Black Widow, Captain Marvel etc. while they protect their Base.
