The B-52s will hit Las Vegas next week for a residency at The Venetian, and while they are in Sin City, their very own Fred Schneider would like to meet you.
The brand new Punk Rock Museum has been drawing so many of our favorite rockers and Fred Schneider has been added to that list.
On Sunday, August 27th, Schneider will co-host a book signing event with music photographer Michael Grecco. The two gentlemen will autograph copies of Grecco’s book “Punk, Post Punk and New Wave: Onstage, Backstage, In Your Face 1978-91” (which includes a forward by Schneider).
The signing will take place from 5 – 7 p.m. and space is limited. If you buy a copy of the book in the museum’s retail shop, you will also receive free admission into the museum itself. OC Music News has checked out this new attraction and it is incredible!

As for the band’s residency, you can catch “Rock Lobster,” “Roam,” “Planet Claire,” “Private Idaho,” “Party Out of Bounds,” “Strobe Light,” “Give Me Back My Man,” “52 Girls,” “Legal Tender,” “Whammy Kiss,” and the residency namesake, “Love Shack,” August 25th through September 3rd.
After their stint in Vegas, The B-52s will play the massively cool Darker Waves Festival in Huntington Beach on November 18th. So pack those bags and head to Vegas to do all things B-52s!
