BILLY IDOL THE RE-RELEASE

Reissues Debut Album

June 21, 2023 by Traci Turner
He helped us open the summer with an incredible performance at Cruel World, now he is giving us an expanded edition of his self-titled debut album.

Due on July 28th, the reissue includes the 10 original tracks, a previously unreleased 1982 concert from The Roxy in West Hollywood, plus a newly found, previously unreleased 12-minute extended remix of the song that made him a legend, “White Wedding.”

Other classic tracks off the debut include “Love Calling,” “Nobody’s Business,” “Come On, Come On,” and “Hot in the City.” As for the Roxy show, non-debut album tracks include “Triumph,” “Kiss Me Deadly,” “Mony Mony,” and “Dancing With Myself.”

After you have your hands on the two-CD set, check Idol out in person as he tours the US this summer. He has stops in Spokane, Washington, D.C., Brooklyn, Las Vegas, Boston, and the Jazz Aspen Snowmass with Foo Fighters.
Idol will be joined by his longtime band, including Steve Stevens, his collaborator and guitarist for more than 40 years.

Idol isn’t relying on the classics though. Last year he released an EP titled “The Cage” with four new songs, following 2021’s EP, “The Roadside.”

You can preorder the special edition of “Billy Idol” now and have it in your hot little hands July 28th.
