The holidays are right around the corner, and for parents that can be a frightening reality. Then, something cool comes along and you feel like a kid again. In a year that has been so unthinkable, the unforeseeable has happened! Buckle or strap up, because Blue Heaven on Ice has just been announced. It’s time for The Dodgers Holiday Festival!
You and everyone you care about can take to the ice and go skating at Dodger Stadium this holiday season. That’s right, this holiday the ice rink is coming back to Dodger Stadium and you are invited.
ANIMATED EVENT BANNERS PROVIDED BY THE DODGERS
It’s not the first time Chavez Ravine has looked like the frozen tundra, it’s a reprise edition. Back in 2014, the NHL paid a visit to this historic site. It was the Los Angeles Kings versus the Anaheim Ducks who played a regular season hockey game as part of the Stadium Series. Kiss was the game entertainment! It was a huge success, not sure why the NHL hasn’t returned for the series. Nevertheless, here we are.
Last week, the Dodgers let the cat out of the bag and let us all know about their plans for a winter festival at the stadium.
ANIMATED EVENT BANNERS PROVIDED BY THE DODGERS
Fans from all over can come to Dodger Stadium and skate on a rink in the outfield, or visit Santa in the bullpen and take in an amazing holiday light and music show. The organizers said you can immerse yourself in “interactive experiences worthy of posting on social media.” Fans can also eat, drink and shop.
Because this event is taking place in the city of Los Angeles, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test is required. The Dodgers “strongly encourage” mask wearing, the team said in its announcement.
SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN!
The festival opens on November 26th and runs through December 31st, so get your tickets now!
