When I was a kid, I truly loved the music and messages from certain bands. The Clash, Ramones, and Bowie were at the top of my sonic heroes list. That said, I also loved The Boss!
As a teenager, I grew up listening to songs like “Born to Run,” “Hungry Heart,” “Born in the USA,” “Dancing in the Dark” and “Glory Days.”
These are just some some of the songs that spoke to a generation and defined an era.
Fast forward to 2022 and we got three news that The Boss is headed our way! Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s long-awaited North American tour is official. The tour will blast off on February 1, 2023 in Tampa. This will be his first US Tour since 2016.
Springsteen announced that the two-and-a-half-month tour will deliver 31 dates in the US with its culmination April 14th in Newark.
The band will then head across the pond for previously promoted UK dates that will continue through July, 2023.
Initially when we published this tour story, we said it’s unclear if additional dates will be added. That has been answered as additional west coast dates have been added.
Locally, The Boss will play two dates at the Kia Forum on December 4th and 6th.
