The pinnacle of indie rock festivals is coming our way in 2022. Just Like Heaven will arrive at Brookside at the Rose Bowl on May 21st!
We know about Cruel World, the other kick-ass festival that dazzles with an homage to all things ’80s new-wave era, Just Like Heaven is literally that, a slice of Heaven. Here’s what you need to know about it: most notably, it’s not an Aquabats/Cure Tribute tour, although that would be really cool. Instead, it continues on with the Cruel World theme with mega-bands from the ’90s alt rock world.
Just Like Heaven brings the Goliaths of their genre. The lineup includes New York’s Interpol, Washington’s Modest Mouse, Albuquerque’s The Shins, from London there’s M.I.A. and Bloc Party, from Glasgow Franz Ferdinand, and international sensation, the Swedish exports, The Hives. This lineup is guaranteed to electrify. Other performers rounding out the bill include Chromeo, Santigold, Cut Copy, and so many more! With these classic Coachella vibes, Goldenvoice did it again with this lineup!
Tickets go on sale this Thursday (June 24th) at 10 a.m. PT, but you must register to purchase presale tickets on their site. Upon registration, you will be sent a text with a super-secret presale code and link to buy tickets. There are many different types of tickets you can purchase with a variation of add-ons, and they even have payment plans.
