MACHINE GUN KELLY

MACHINE GUN KELLY

RETURNS TO SOCAL

June 20, 2022 by Rachael Contreras
Machine Gun Kelly has hit the headlines lately with numerous stories. Whether they be from him teaming up with mega superstar Travis Barker, or MGK and his fiancée (Megan Fox) drinking each other’s blood, or writing and staring in a movie called “Good Morning,” or his soon-to-be released documentary on Hulu called “Life in Pink.” In other words, MGK is everywhere.

Kelly – born as Colson Baker – hit the mainstream with his 2012 album, “Lace Up.” It hit number four on the US Billboard 200 chart, and he went on to have commercial success with each following album.
In 2020, MGK released “Tickets to My Downfall,” his first pop-punk album. In true MGK fashion, “Tickets to My Downfall” was a smashing success hitting number one on Billboard’s 200, and winning the Billboard Music Award for Top Rock Album.

MGK has also had some incredible collaborations: Camila Cabello, Yungblud, Hailee Steinfeld, Trippie Redd, Quavo, Ty Dolla $ign, WILLOW, Papa Roach, and Avril Lavigne. Recently, he teamed up with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker (reminder that Barker is also the former drummer in OC fave, The Aquabats – and we will always hold a special place in the hearts of the locals because of it).
In March, Kelly released his sixth studio album and is celebrating with a tour around the county. It looks like he will only be playing once in each state, except locally where he and the crew will be hitting The Forum in Los Angeles on July 13th, T-Mobile Arena in Vegas on July 15th, and Honda Center in Anaheim on July 16th.
This actor/writer/rapper/singer/coffee shop owner/dad seems to have his finger on the pulse of the world, and we need to be on the lookout for the next great thing he will bring us.
