MAD CADDIES COMING TO GARDEN AMP

MAD CADDIES

Set to Play Garden Amp
January 3, 2023 by David Jackson
It takes years of hard work and a certain special talent for any band of any genre to become a leader that other bands (and fans) look up to. A one-of-kind band out of Solvang has done just that, and they are bringing their talents to Garden Amp this March to celebrate their 28th anniversary!

Let’s face it: Mad Caddies are the best band to ever come out of Solvang. They bring a blend of ska, reggae, rocksteady, alt rock, punk, a Latin flare and an electric energy that has collected countless worldwide followers to their hypnotic sonic vision. This all makes them a perfect fit in the epicenter of Third Wave Ska: Orange County, California.
The Caddies call Fat Wreck Chords their home and the label is a perfect fit for them. They have delivered on vision, and have risen to the top of the who’s who of the ska world since 1995.

There’s a good chance you’ll hear some classics from The Caddies: “Goleta,” “Weird Beard,” “Road Rash,” “No Hope,” ” Without You,” “Shoot Out the Lights,” “Coyote, Leavin’,” “Monkeys,” “She,” “Love Myself,” “Riding For a Fall,” “Dogs of War,” “Falling Down,” “All American Badass,” “Drinking for 11,” “Sorrow,” “Souls for Sale,” and “Brand New Scar.” Their list of great songs is extensive and we know they will keep us entertained all night.
The Garden Amp has seen some larger-than-life bands land in the venue, but this show is special. Join the Caddies with scene faves La Pobreska, Pinata Protest, local skankers Half Past Two, Taken Days, Jesse of the Aggrolites, Jason Cruz and the Howl, and a few more surprises may be in store.

Get ready to skank, rattle and roll on down the Garden Amp on March 4th with Mad Caddies and friends!
