It’s official: “The Pope of Mope” is coming our way! Morrissey will be playing live in SoCal this November and our tears of joy are smearing our black eyeliner.
The former front-man for The Smiths will open his fall 2022 tour in Southern California at the Toyota Arena in Ontario on November 11th. The king of the most fantastic hair in the alternative/indie genre will then be playing at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on November 12th and The Magnolia in El Cajon on November 14th. After that, he will make his way up the West Coast, hit a few more states, and end up in Boston.

No word yet on who will be his opening act, but we are sure that whomever graces the spot will be tremendous.
Morrissey just celebrated his 63rd birthday on May 22nd but hasn’t let that slow him or his beautiful halfway-buttoned satin shirts down. He kicked off his summer with epic performances at Cruel World, then a brief residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
Whether he is singing his solo material, such as “Everyday is Like Sunday,” “Disappointed,” “The More You Ignore Me, the Closer I Get,” “Sing Your Life,” “That’s Entertainment,” “Suedehead,” or “We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful,” or material from his time with The Smiths, like “Half a Person,” “Sweet and Tender Hooligan,” “Never Had No One Ever,” or the epically huge hit “How Soon Is Now?” it’s guaranteed you will have a great time watching the master at work.
These few shows will absolutely sell out before you can say “Such a Little Thing Makes Such a Big Difference,” so grab your tickets as soon as possible! The presale starts Thursday at 10 a.m. local time with the passcode MOZ. General on sale is Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
