Who said flannel wouldn’t be back? Ask Eddie Vedder and the guys from Pearl Jam and they’ll tell you it has never gone out of style. With the success of their last album, “Gigaton,” Pearl Jam and Vedder return to the stage.
Even with their current success, their fans are reflecting on some major milestones, such as “Yield” turning 25!
Despite all their successes, many look back to that album as the catalyst for their early greatness, give it a “Ten” on the coolness scale.
The band announced a nine-city summer tour in August with a few select dates. The tour will take off in St. Paul, MN on August 31st, and will pass through Chicago, Indianapolis, then wrap up in Austin.
The ticket pre-sale is happening now through the band’s Ten Club. After that, general public tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. local time.
Also notable: Tickets will reflect all-in pricing. What does that mean exactly? It means the listed price of the ticket will include transaction fees. With the debacle in the news regarding ticket scalping, these tickets are also NON-TRANSFERABLE! Take that, scalpers!
If you need a local gig, you can catch Eddie Vedder at this year’s Ohana Fest, which features a variety of great bands including The Killers and Foo Fighters in September.
