Good vibes. Something the whole world could use right now. If there’s any band that can bring about some laidback, relaxing, good vibes, you know it’s got to be Rebelution.
The popular reggae rock band from Southern California announced they will be touring across the nation all summer long. They will be hitting 40 stops, including several California dates. Orange County will be lucky enough to get two back-to-back shows at the Pacific Amphitheatre in Costa Mesa.
Rebelution is currently touring off of last summer’s “In the Moment,” their seventh studio album. “In the Moment” is their second album since 2016’s “Falling Into Place,” which marked their first Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album.

The members met while attending UC Santa Barbara and the band was formed in 2004. All four founding members – Eric Rachmany on vocals, and guitar; Rory Carey on keyboards; Marley Williams, on bass; and Wesley Finley on drums – remain as the original lineup since its initial formation (sans former vocalist and guitarist, Matt Velasquez). The band has traveled the world alongside 311, Pepper, and Ziggy and Damian Marley.
The Good Vibes Summer Tour 2022 will be joined by Steel Pulse on some dates. The English band released “Mass Manipulation” in 2019, and it was also nominated for the Grammy for Best Reggae Album. The two reggae acts have toured several times in the past and Steel Pulse’s dates include the two shows at the Pacific Amphitheatre. Steel Pulse is currently touring California, with dates in Napa and Bakersfield next week.
Supporting Rebelution the entire tour will be solo act DENM, and DJ Mackie.

Another great event to keep an eye on is this year’s California Roots Festival, which also features Rebelution.
