Celebrating 40 years of music mayhem, Skinny Puppy is hitting the road on their Skinny Puppy: Final Tour. Yes, all good things eventually come to an end and the industrial music icons from Canada are heading out for their last road trip. It’s time to bid farewell to Skinny Puppy.
With a distinctive signature sound that echoes Joy Division and Bauhaus, Skinny Puppy features Nivek Ogre on vocals and keys, cEvin Key on guitar, keys, and drums, and Mark Walk on keys, guitar, bass and drums. Their live performance is unreal, often controversial, and jaw dropping by any form of measurement.
If you can stomach the insane stage show, join the crowd screaming for “Assimilate,” “Worlock,” “Dig It,” “Addiction,” “Candle,” “Spasmolytic,” “Tin Omen,” “Stairs and Flowers,” “Topic,” and many more songs that made them icons of the genre.
The band said, “It’s been eight long years since we’ve toured and there is no better way to end our run as a group than with a tour celebrating our 40th anniversary. To our West Coast fans, don’t worry! We’ll see you soon!” Hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to see them in the Southland.
The goodbye tour kicks off April 6th in San Antonio and their star trek will beam them to Seattle on May 9th before it’s all said and done. Supporting them on the jaunt will be Lead Into Gold.
