LIVE at THE FORUM

October 15, 2021 by Tommy Johnson

Sometimes larger-than-life events materialize when you least expect them. Life as we knew it evaporated in 2020, but the second half of 2021 is making up for that. The Rock Gods are looking down on us mortals and blessing us with a band that has been part of our day-to-day lives since 1971. What band is coming to town to make our lives better? That would be the legendary band: the Eagles!
As Rod Serling would say, “Case in point; a band from yesteryear is landing in a place that many hold dear. The place: The Forum. The date: October 15th, 16th and 19th. The destination: Hotel California!”
The Eagles 2021 tour is in advance of the release of their “LIVE FROM THE FORUM ’76” album which will be available everywhere on the planet on November 12th.

Why do we love the Eagles so much? They gave us epic hits “Hotel California,” “New Kid in Town,” “Take It To The Limit,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” “Life in the Fast Lane,” “One of These Nights,” “Tequila Sunrise,” and “Heartache Tonight,” just to name a few. The iconic band has amazing vocalists Don Henley (“Dirty Laundry” and “Johnny Can’t Read”) and Joe Walsh (“Life’s Been Good”), and there is the phenomenal catalog from the late Glenn Frey.
All three of these legendary musicians have had successful careers of their own in addition to being part of this historic band. It can easily be argued by the legion of their fans that their music has stood the test of time.
No matter who you are, how old you are, or where you call home, I highly recommend you get your comfortable shoes on and get yourself to The Forum as this will be three nights to remember.

There are some things to be aware of for this show. This event is a night with the Eagles, so there is NO opener. Since that it is the case, the show starts promptly at 8 p.m., so arrive early. As is becoming the standard for live shows, all concertgoers must provide a copy of their vaccination card (at least two weeks after final dose). The card must be the original, a printed or digital copy, or printed or digital proof of immunization, or proof of negative COVID-19 test within 24 hours of the event. Photo ID that matches your cards is also required.
For children under 12 or concertgoers with a valid medical note preventing vaccination, proof of COVID-19 “Antigen” test within 24 hours of the event and proof of negative result prior to entering the venue is required
In addition, mask wearing is required for all concertgoers.
Now it’s time to see history right in front of your eyes with these Rock and Roll Hall of Famers!
