A good friend once told me that true happiness is living life in the key of ska. I’ve always thought about that saying, and 28 days into the new year… I think I agree. Music has always been there for me at all major points in my life. There’s always music that we can all hang on to that reminds us of the good, bad and the ugly. In 2021, ska has again taken its rightful place on the totem pole of life.
Just as sure as the sun will come up tomorrow, our sonic heroes have returned. That’s right, oops they did it again! The kings of plaid busted out a new single, ALL HAIL The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are back!
The Bosstones released their single called “The Final Parade” earlier this week (January 25th), with the anticipation of a new album coming out soon!
Here’s the thing about this single, aside the Bosstones fronting the single, they added other amazing guests to sing on this eight minute track!
Yes, you heard that right… eight minutes! The guest list is spectacular and reflects all facets and the soul of today’s ska scene. The single features icons Tim Armstrong of Rancid and Angelo Moore of Fishbone, also added is the distinctive voice and sound of forth wave juggernauts The Interrupters (featuring Aimee Interrupter, Kevin Bivona, Jesse Bivona, Justin Bivona, and Gary Bivona).

About the single, The Interrupters said they are “so honored to be included among so many legends on the new Bosstones track “The Final Parade.” That is the sentiment from almost every contributor.
The Boston-based skacore legends feature their dynamic front-man, Dicky Barrett. The new album marks the Bosstones’ migration to Hellcat Records | Epitaph.
