Orange County is the place to be in 2022 for art, entertainment and music. When you think of entertainment in OC, Disney, Knott’s, and House of Blues come to mind, plus there’s always some sort of sporting event at Honda Center.
But in 2022, Honda Center is up there with the other musical venues. Case in point; recently we had Journey, The Who and Iron Maiden are on deck, and then on September 17th, you can catch Twenty One Pilots on The Icy Tour.
This dynamic duo known as Twenty One Pilots are a Columbus, Ohio-based alt rock-pop-hip hop-electro rock band that features lead vocalist and guitarist Tyler Joseph and drummer Josh Dun.
The duo is best known for their monster singles “Stressed Out,” “Car Radio,” “Ride” and “Heavydirtysoul.”
As the band took off on that meteoric rise to stardom, they gained more and more traction with their music and film collaborations when “Heathens” was featured in “Suicide Squad.”
Over the last few years, they have enjoyed success across-the-board with hits “Jumpsuit,” “Trees,” “Chlorine,“ and “Level of Concern.”
The Grammy-winning duo has broken records on the charts in multiple ways as well. They are the first band to have every single on two albums hit gold or platinum sales, plus they have had 10 songs hit number one.
Twenty One Pilots released their sixth album, “Scaled and Icy,” in May 2021, which they worked on during lockdowns. The singles “Shy Away,” “Saturday,” and “Choker” fueled their incredibly loyal fanbase. They livestreamed the album at its release, but it is now available as a digital download if you missed it.
Their live shows are becoming epic in scope and larger-than-life in grandeur.
If you want to see one of the most entertaining bands in music, check out Twenty One Pilots at Honda Center on September 17th. It will be a good time.
You will need to act fast if you want to see this show because a limited number of tickets remain.
