UB40 ZOOMY STREAM

January 22, 2021 by Traci Turner

Grab your “Red Red Wine” and pull up a couch to enjoy UB40 from your living room Sunday afternoon. We’re allowed to day drink, right?
Iconic British reggae band UB40 will host another “UBZoomy” livestream through their app. This episode is “The Holt’s Special” and will air this Sunday, January 24.

The world first came to know this reggae juggernaut when they officially became a band in 1978. However, here in the states, it wasn’t until 1983 when their mega record “Labour of Love” exploded. Their were so many great hits off that album. Thanks to media platforms like MTV everyone on the planet was singing to “Red Red Wine.”
UB40 has every intention to tour this year, but while we wait, the livestream will give you a much needed lift. Surely they will play a couple of our favorites like “Many Rivers to Cross,” “Johnny Too Bad,” “Rat in the Kitchen,” “If It Happens Again,” “Cherry Oh Baby,” “Keep On Moving,” “The Way You Do the Things You Do,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love With You,” “Kingston Town,” and “Here I Am (Come and Take Me)” and so many of their songs that make up the soundtrack of our lives.
Oh, and don’t forget those collaborations with Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders with “I Got You Babe” and “Breakfast in Bed.”

They have a new album just out worth the listen called “For The Many.”
