Are you guys “down” to rock out at a 311 show? The cool vibes of this legendary band from Nebraska will be coming back to SoCal over the next few weeks.
311 features some of the most dynamic musicians anywhere on the planet. There’s Nick Hexum behind the mic and on guitar, Doug “SA” Martinez also works the mic and turntables, Aaron “P-Nut” Wills is on bass, Tim Mahoney on lead and rhythm guitar, and Chad Sexton keeps everyone on beat on drums.
The guys of 311 have been making music for 30 years and have completed 13 studio albums with 2019’s “Voyager” being the latest. The pandemic prevented them from touring in support, but we will finally get to see them Friday at BeachLife in Redondo Beach. In addition to the new stuff, we can expect to hear “Amber,” “All Mixed Up,” “I’ll be Here Awhile,” “Beautiful Disaster,” “Sunset in July,” “Come Original,” “Love Song,” and of course “Down!”
311 has also created as app for you to have all things 311! You can get first shot at tickets and VIP packages, limited-edition 311 NFT art, virtual meet and greets with the band, plus additional goodies. They plan to announce their fall tour soon, so get in the app and get it first.
Coming off their kick-ass performance at BeachLife this past weekend, you could also hop over to Riverside Municipal Auditorium to see them on May 17th.
