Who Do Voodoo? The answer is – we all do. This summer, we can get a little slice of Voodoo Glow Skulls in select parts of the country.
This year has been a very good bounce back year for the music industry; bounce back of festivals, touring, and most importantly, some of our favorite bands. For the ska enthusiast, Voodoo is getting mad respect; so much in fact, they got props in the new Nicholas Cage Dracula flick, “Renfield.”
According to recent IG pics, crossing fingers, Voodoo is working on new music. No matter where you see them, Voodoo fans love to sing-along and mosh pit to “Charlie Brown,” “Shoot the Moon,” “El Coo Cooi,” “Insubordination,” “Delinquent Song,” “Here Comes the Sun,” “Bulletproof,” and “Living the Apocalypse.”
On the Voodoo to-do list are some very cool shows. Voodoo announced they will be on the Less Than Jake tour that hits the East Coast in July.
For the left coast, Voodoo will play April 29th in Sin City when they bring their ska-core sound to the Tacos and Tamales Festival. Joining them in Vegas will be La Pobreska, Los Rakas, Blanco Y Negro, The Ghetto On Phyre, plus Selecta Scream spinning tunes between! The whole deal is put on by Clark County Parks and Recreation and will have tons of food, fun, and even a carnival to enjoy as you hear the tunes. Oh, and they will even have Lucha Libre Wrestling!
Before they start hitting all the cool spots throughout the country, you can catch them at The Concert Lounge in Riverside April 28th for another yummy taco event.
