AC/DC IS BACK AND READY TO POWER UP
October 1,2020 by Rachael Contreras
The Rumors are true and the wait is over. Who said 2020 had nothing but bad news! Listen up music fans, it’s OFFICIAL… the Sultans of rock are back and releasing a new album!
AC/DC is in full swing and posted on Twitter Wednesday that singer Brian Johnson, drummer Phil Rudd and bassist Cliff Williams have rejoined to put out a new album called PWR UP -their first in-studio record since 2014.
Guitarist Stevie Young will be on the new PWR UP album. Stevie Young preformed with AC/DC after his uncle, Malcolm Young passed away in 2017 at age 64.
AC/DC is a power band, and they’ve long been a part of our lives. Not only do they always bring the noise, their music is Americana, kinda weird being that they’re from Australia and all… you get the jist.
Their music catalog includes monster-hits like “Thunderstruck,” “Highway To Hell,” Hells Bells,” “Shook Me All Night Long,” “Back in Black,” “Shoot To Thrill,” “T.N.T.,” “Dirty Deeds Done Dirty Cheep,” “Moneytalks,” “Who Made Who,” “For Those About To Rock”… the list goes on and on.
Even though AC/DC’S Back in Black has sold over 50 million copies worldwide and is one of the best-selling records in music history, they’ve had some band related ups and downs (especially in recent years). Luckily, that’s all behind them now.

The only thing that matters today is that new music is coming from one of the best rock bands ever!
Release date is set for November 13th !
