From coast-to-coast and around the world, fans from all genres have much to rejoice about. In the Year of the Foo – that is thanks to Dave Grohl proving big shows can happen safely – things are getting real. One of the bands that we’ve been waiting to hear from is AFI, and the news is in.
AFI is known in the punk world under many branches of the genre; horror punk, garage punk, pop punk, hardcore punk, skate punk, goth punk, and more. Luckily for us, AFI is going on tour, but for their loyal fans, it can’t happen fast enough. That wait is almost over, but we’ll still need a bit of patience until we see Davey Havok and the rest of A Fire Inside.
Over the years, AFI has amazed their fans with hit songs like “Miss Murder,” “Girls Not Grey,” “Silver and Cold,” and “Love Like Winter.” In 2021, AFI is giving us that ear candy we’ve been waiting for.
AFI released their newest album, the 11-track “Bodies” on June 11, 2021. It has some great soon-to-be hits on it like, “Escape from Los Angeles,” which is sure to get radio play. “Death of a Party” sounds like something straight out of The Cure’s 1984 album “The Top!” Seeing AFI play these songs live will be quite the experience!
In 2022, we will see them live as they embark on the Bodies Tour. AFI hits us with two dates in Los Angeles to wrap up their two-month whirlwind North American tour, and they are sure to sell out quickly.

AFI hits San Diego first on February 11 at SOMA, then they circle back for two nights at the Hollywood Palladium, March 25th and 26th.
