“You Oughta Know” (sorry) that Grammy-winning singer Alanis Morissette is hitting the road in 2024 with Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Joan Jett, and rising star Morgan Wade.
Morissette announced her Triple Moon Tour, which kicks off in June and will make stops in 31 North American cities. After shows in Phoenix, Austin, Nashville, Charlotte, Toronto, Cincinnati, and Milwaukee, the tour hits Palm Springs on August 8th at Acrisure Arena, and Inglewood on August 10th at Kia Forum.
Upon announcing the tour, Morissette said, “I am inspired and heartened and feel giddy inside to be going on this upcoming summer tour with Joan and Morgan and all our teams. Can’t wait to see you, can’t wait to perform!”
In 2021 and 2022, Morissette toured in celebration of 25 years of her landmark album, “Jagged Little Pill.” Fans can expect tracks from that album and their Morissette favorites, such as “Hand in My Pocket,” “You Learn,” “Head Over Feet,” “All I Really Want,” “Ironic,” “Thank U,” and of course, “You Oughta Know.”
Joan Jett is a legend on her own and having seen her on the stadium tour with Motley Crue, Def Leppard, and Poison… she is more badass than most men in rock. You can see Jett and the Blackhearts perform their mega hits, “Bad Reputation,” “I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll,” “I Hate Myself For Loving You,” “Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah),” and “Crimson and Clover.”
Morgan Wade may still be an unknown to some, but the Nashville singer is truly making a name for herself with her first two albums, “Reckless” and “Psychopath.” Check out her single “Wilder Days” to get a taste.
If you need some Morissette now though, she just dropped a new Christmas single, “Last Christmas.” The song is part of an EP featuring her previously released holiday covers of “Happy Xmas (War is Over),” “What Child is This?,” and “Little Drummer Boy.” The EP is available on a limited edition red and green vinyl and all streaming platforms.
