Fresh off an Australian tour and a jaunt from Long Beach to Boise, Supersuckers are keeping the train rolling with our friends and local heroes, Throw Rag.
The two electrifying bands will hit The Observatory on July 8th and this combo is a one-two punch not to miss! If you want the loud and ruckus bands that fully entertain a crowd, this night promises to deliver a punch of pure rock and roll fun.
The Supersuckers formed in 1988 and have entertained us with their brand of rock, punk, and cowpunk. Despite some health issues, front-man, bassist, and founding member Edward “Eddie Spaghetti” Daly is back on stage and ready to kill it.
The dynamic band is rounded out by guitarist “Metal” Marty Chandler and drummer Christopher “Chango” von Streicher.
With albums like “Must’ve Been High,” “Motherfuckers Be Trippin,’” “Get the Hell,” and “Suck It,” you know they are always entertaining.
Formed in 1993, Throw Rag is another incredible band that has made an impression on anyone who sees them.
Celebrating their 30th anniversary, front-man and founding member Sean Wheeler is joined by Patrick Bostrom on guitar, Frank Cronin on bass, and Daniel Lapham on sampler and Jorge Bermudez on drums. Their sound blends rock, surf, rockabilly, punk, and even sailor rock.
Do not sleep on this bill! Alex’s Bar Presents Throw Rag and Supersuckers with Riverboat Gamblers along with Julian James and the Lovebombs at The Observatory in Santa Ana on July 8th.
