Hey all you cool bats in mittens! We’ve got some extra-special news that will make you say, “I want a hippopotamus for Christmas, too!” The rash guard wearing heroes with the most voracious fury, The Aquabats, are playing a Christmas-themed show at the House of Blues in Anaheim, AND they have a new seven-song Christmas album with holiday merchandise to match!
This Christmas miracle show is happening on Saturday, December 4th at the House of Blues Anaheim with The Skatalites and Shock Therapy. The Aquabats always rock this venue to its core, so this is a must-see show. But the snowy icing on this winter cake is that they will most likely be playing songs off their new Christmas album and – fingers crossed – there may be Christmas themed merchandise to purchase at the show!

With songs like “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas Too!,” “Christmas Steve,” “Christmas is Awesome,” “Holiday Road,” “Santa Claus’ Party,” and two super-secret, never-heard-before extra-special tracks that aren’t available on digital streaming services, “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas Too!” is a holiday album that you will want to listen to all year long!
The Aquabats put on a show like no other. Throwing real chicken nuggets into the crowd during “Magic Chicken!,” or tossing around powdered milk during “Powdered Milk Man!,” or having “The Professor” make an appearance before “Cat with 2 Heads!,” or a magnificently absurd play-fight scene during, “Fight Song!,” or the ENTIRE crowd singing, “Red Sweater!;” The Aquabats engage the crowd in a way you will never see anywhere else.
Kids of all ages will enjoy this rambunctious show, but be sure to check the HOB website for COVID-19 protocols.
Start the holiday season off right with The Aquabats!
