BACHMAN-TURNER OVERIDE | BACK IN OVERDRIVE TOUR

BACHMAN-TURNER OVERDRIVE

Back In Overdrive Tour
July 20, 2023 by Holly Jones
Fifty years ago, a band from the Great White North descended south of the border to make music history. The Canadians known as Bachman-Turner Overdrive were the “bee’s knees” of ‘70s rock, and since then, they have sold more than 50 million records and held countless sold-out shows.

I am happy to report BTO is BACK, and ready to take care of business! Dubbed the Back in Overdrive Tour, BTO will cover the US starting August 15th in Wisconsin, and will play locally at The YouTube Theater on November 2nd, along with The Magnolia in San Diego on November 5th.

Front-man Randy Bachman announced, “After a very long time Bachman-Turner Overdrive / BTO is back on the rock and roll highway and kicking it into OVERDRIVE! Full tilt, pedal to the metal rock and roll is back to melt your face and rock your soul.” Bachman did not confirm who will join him, but a good guess is Fred Turner may be on board for the ride. Time to dust off those bell bottoms, big belt buckles, and all that leather because BTO will bring it and you better be ready to take it.

Along with their kick-ass boogie rock style, BTO will enthrall their fans with familiar songs like “You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet,” “Takin’ Care of Business,” “Let It Ride,” “American Woman,” and “These Eyes.” This is one of those “once in a lifetime events.” Yeah, yeah, we hear that a lot, but this one really is true.
We can’t say for certain when they will go on tour in the near future, so the future is now and get your tickets to see Bachman-Turner Overdrive!
