BOB DYLAN

THE RETURN

April 21, 2022 by Holly Jones
Things just got real because Bob Dylan said he’s coming back to Southern California!  That is a great salutation for all of us from this legend among legends. Now, Dylan is headed our way on his Rough and Rowdy Ways World Tour.
Sure, the tour has been on and off since 2021 and will run through 2024, but this will be an epic event no matter what matrix you use to measure great shows.
The icon is set to play four shows in SoCal, first he’ll have three at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood. Those show run from June 14th through the 16th. Then he will head down south Interstate 5 to play the San Diego Civic Center on June 18th.

Over the past year Dylan has been keeping the setlist straight forward with songs his loyal fans love. With some new tunes, he has inserted them to work the crowd and it has been paying off; reviews nationwide have been nothing less of stellar.
Some songs you may hear include “I’ll Be Your Baby Tonight,” “To Be Alone With You,” “Watching the River Flow,” and “Every Grain of Sand.”

EVERY GRAIN OF SAND

As for Dylan’s fans, they live and breathe to hear his era and life defining songs, “The Times They Are A-Changin'” “Blowing in the Wind,” “Like A Rolling Stone,” “Mr. Tambourine Man,” “Lay Lady Lay,” and “Knocking on Heaven’s Door” just to name a sample of his enormous catalog.
