In our ongoing That’s Entertainment series, this time we are covering Sony Pictures latest, “Bullet Train.”
This action-comedy is a fantastic gem of a movie. I spent two hours laughing my ass off! Watching this wonderful cast and story unfold was absolutely brilliant.
“Bullet Train” is one of those movies that if you’re into Tarantino, Rodriguez, or Ritchie, then you’ll probably love it. It is fast paced, the action sequences are top notch, the dialogue is reminiscent of “Pulp Fiction,” and assassin / mercenary, Brad Pitt aka “Ladybug” is laugh-out-loud funny. The special effects are also very good, and the fight scenes would have impressed Bruce Lee!
The storyline is simple: old Kung Fu dudes with vendettas. Several hitmen get assignments that land them all on the bullet train where they unknowingly turn and try to kill each other. Of course, no spoiler here, so you will have to watch to see who does what and who walks away in the end.
The flick is two hours of non-stop fun, action, and comedy. The brilliant cast features Brad Pitt (Ladybug), Bad Bunny (The Wolf), Joey King (Prince), Aaron Taylor Johnson (Tangerine), Sandra Bullock (Maria Beetle), Bryan Tyree Henry (Lemon), Zazie Beetz (The Hornet), Michael Shannon (White Death), Hiroyuki Sanada (The Elder), Andrew Koji (Yuichi Kimura), and there were cameos by Ryan Reynolds and Channing Tatum that were simply hilarious!
Go see this absolutely wonderful action-packed comedy; I promise you will enjoy this one!
