In 2022, Coldplay traveled the globe and broke attendance and sales records with their Music of the Spheres World Tour. In 2023, they will bring the show to North America, with a handful of dates announced today, and more to be announced in the future.
SoCal will have two shots at catching the legendary band: September 27th in San Diego at Snapdragon Stadium, and September 30th in Los Angeles at the Rose Bowl. Coldplay will be supported on these dates by H.E.R. and 070 Shake.
The Chris Martin-led band has been performing 25+ song sets over multiple stages, and of course it includes hits “Higher Power,” “Paradise,” “The Scientist,” “Viva la Vida,” “Yellow,” “Clocks,” “A Sky Full of Stars,” and “Fix You.” They also continue their tradition of LED wristbands for the audience, which sync to the music as the band plays.
This year will be busy for the band in additional ways: they are nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year for “Music of the Spheres,” and they have been in the studio recording a new album. Perhaps 2023 shows will get samples of the new material.
MUSIC of the SPHERES TOUR
Also added to the tour, two dates at the new Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego. There will be plenty of opportunities to see Coldplay in 2023. Check out this tour, should be a good one.
