One of the first concert-related victims of the pandemic was the Cruel World festival. The world is getting some much-needed good news as this epic show is back!
This weekend the event’s social media channels posted a 9-second clip to “Whip It” by DEVO that let the cat out of the proverbial bag.
It’s not clear if Goldenvoice will be able to secure all bands that were set to play originally will be participating, but for now, let’s check off DEVO.
This ’80s new wave era themed show features monsters of the genre with Morrissey, Bauhaus, Blondie, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Psychedelic Furs, Violent Femmes, PIL, The Damned, Missing Persons, and so many more will be added.
The event is set to take place on May 14, 2022 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena!
For NOW, the world of music is getting a much-needed shot in the arm with the announcement of this epic show!
