ESCAPE THE FATE TOUR

ESCAPE THE FATE TOUR

May 19, 2022 by Rachael Contreras

We haven’t seen Escape the Fate’s Dead Masquerade Tour since 2011, but tour number two has been making its way through California this week. The final night is this Friday at Chain Reaction and we will finally be able to lay our eyes and ears on them, along with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus and Violent New Breed.
Hailing from the Las Vegas area, Escape the Fate appeared in our sonic world after winning a contest to open for My Chemical Romance. The performance got them a record deal and they have been rocking us ever since. Last year they released the album “Chemical Warfare” and in addition to playing tracks from it, we can expect to hear favorites “One for the Money,” “Massacre,” “Gorgeous Nightmare,” “Prepare Your Weapon,” “Broken Heart,” and lately, they’ve been including a cover of Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places.”

From Jacksonville, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus might help the West Coast fans get crazy with their hit songs “Face Down,” “Your Guardian Angel,” and “False Pretense” all off their 2006 smash hit album, “Don’t You Fake It.”
The show will have support from opener Violent New Breed. The Las Vegas band is known for having their own mini-series on Twitch called “The Vocalist” where they held open auditions to find the band’s new lead singer. Now, with new lead vocalist Albert Schweizer and a new single, “Bloody Lip Season,” Violent New Breed is rocking their way across the country.
This Chain Reaction show is sold out although there are some VIP passes available. Since the only thing standing between you and the band while you’re outside is the wall behind the stage, you are very likely to hear this awesome show from the parking lot, maybe even purchase some merch. Shows like these don’t come around too often, but when they do, you need to make sure you grab tickets quick!
