Cheers! To Happy Hour! with Flogging Molly
December 14, 2020 by Thomas Ochoa
Flogging Molly and Breckenridge Brewery celebrate the end of 2020 and fresh beginnings in 2021 with a set of “Happy Hour!” livestream events. Hosted by Joe Sib and on December 16th and January 14th, the 25-person capacity event sold out in minutes. The December date received such a response from fans, the January date was added to christen the new year (and also sold out in minutes!).

This intimate Zoom event will allow fans to engage with the full band as they drink, share stories, and participate in a Q&A session. The limited capacity events offer a unique dynamic to the artist-audience relationship as livestreaming continues to play a substantial role in connecting fans with their favorite artists during the COVID era of live music.
Flogging Molly participated in a livestream show for their “Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day” performance on September 17th through Facebook, YouTube and their website.
The band has offered guitar lessons with Dennis on Facebook, and Dave & Bridget’s “Fireside Sessions” since the beginning of the pandemic, but have yet to offer fans a one-to-one session like this.

Flogging Molly is no stranger to providing fans with a unique experience that connects them further with the band. This year marked the sixth installment of Salty Dog Cruise, a four-day expedition for fans and musicians in the Caribbean with bands such as The Decendents, Mariachi El Bronx, Hepcat, and of course, Flogging Molly.

Also this year, Flogging Molly celebrates the 20-year anniversary of their debut studio album, “Swagger.”

This 20th anniversary box set is available and features a remastered copy “Swagger,” live recordings from 2000, pins, 12” vinyl of “Swagger,” LP jacket, vinyl sleeves, and more.
