On the heels of a fantastic showing at Ohana Fest, Foo Fighters gave us all an early Christmas gift as they announced their 2024 North American stadium tour.
Sure, we had an idea this was coming with the teasers, but you never know until you know with the Foo’s. We can look for a handful of select dates throughout the country hitting us in July and August.
With the unreal success of “But Here We Are,” and “Medicine at Midnight,” the Foo’s are back at the top of their game with Josh Freese behind the drum kit. As usual, the electrifying band will feature Nate Mendel on bass, Pat Smear on guitar, Chris Shiflett also on guitar, Rami Jafee on keys, and Dave Grohl on guitar and behind the mic.
Get ready for the soundtrack of our lives: “My Hero,” “Learn to Fly,” “Times Like These,” “Best of You,” “All My Life,” “My Hero,” “Everlong,” “Monkey Wrench,” “This is a Call,” “Breakout,” “I’ll Stick Around,” “Waiting on a War,” “No Son of Mine,” and “Rescued.” This is just a small sample of what songs the over-the-top shows Grohl and company will give us in their 2+ hour shows as we commune with these icons of rock.
If that is not enough, the support for this tour is insane: Pretenders, The Hives, Mammoth WVH, Alex G and L7! depending on the show of course.
