Last month we told you about the upcoming Foo Fighters scary comedy, “Studio 666.” Now we have our first look.
When they announced the movie, the band posted, “In STUDIO 666, the legendary rock band Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their much anticipated 10th album. Once in the house, Dave Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.”
I did NOT need to see Dave Grohl’s eyes like that! According to Grohl, “Be ready to laugh, scream, and headbang in your popcorn. STUDIO 666 will fuck you up.”
“Studio 666” stars Foo Fighters (Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, and Rami Jaffee) with additional cast members Whitney Cummings, Leslie Grossman, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega, and Jeff Garlin.
Filmed at the same house where the band recorded their “Medicine at Midnight” album, “Studio 666” includes Grohl’s creepy eyes and band members with ghosts and monsters. Let’s hope there is a *little* embellishment and this was not the exact circumstances in the studio…
The film will be released domestically on February 25, 2022, at more than 2,000 theaters with an international release to follow.
