New Garbage Music & Tour

June 10, 2021 by by Traci Turner
After previously unleashing singles “No Gods No Masters,” “Wolves,” and “The Men Who Rule the World,” Garbage is officially releasing their newest album tonight at midnight.
“No Gods No Masters” is the seventh album from the band, which still includes the original gang of Shirley Manson, Butch Vig, Duke Erikson, and Steve Marker. The creators of “Stupid Girl,” “Only Happy When It Rains,” “I Think I’m Paranoid,” “Queer,” “The World Is Not Enough,” “Empty,” and “#1 Crush” will surely bring us more great stuff on “No Gods No Masters.”
“This is our seventh record, the significant numerology of which affected the DNA of its content: the seven virtues, the seven sorrows, and the seven deadly sins. It was our way of trying to make sense of how fucking nuts the world is and the astounding chaos we find ourselves in. It’s the record we felt that we had to make at this time.” – from their Facebook page.
The band will tour in support of the record and hit the road Alanis Morissette and Liz Phair this summer in the US, then several dates in the fall in the UK with Blondie. Tickets are on sale now for all dates, including two nights at Hollywood Bowl (October 5th and 6th).
