GARBAGE

RELOADED

One of the most iconic female-led bands on the planet, Garbage, will be touring with “Shout” masters, Tears for Fears, next year.
If you listened to any radio station in the ‘90s, you certainly heard the constant rotation of their hit parade with “Stupid Girl,” “Special,'” “I Think I’m Paranoid,” “I’m Only Happy When It Rains,” “Queer,” “#1 Crush,” “Blood for Poppies,” “Empty,” and “The World is Not Enough.”

These wildly successful songs helped put Garbage on the map, and they climbed up the charts while their self-titled album hit double platinum in the UK, US and Australia!
The quartet remains all the original members: Shirley Manson on vocals, Steve Marker on guitar and keyboards, Duke Erikson on guitar, bass and keyboards, and Butch Vig on drums. Being well rested, the band will jolt us with their electrifying sound while Shirley’s voice will capture your sonic dreams.

The group is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their third album, “beautifulgarbage,” and released an anniversary deluxe edition this fall, complete with a never-before-heard version of their song, “Androgyny.”
About the anniversary release, front-women Manson said, “We cherish this third child of ours just as much as its predecessors.”
Garbage just wrapped their tour with Alanis Morissette and Liz Phair, plus released their seventh album, “No Gods No Masters.” Upon its release, the band said, “This is our seventh record, the significant numerology of which affected the DNA of its content: the seven virtues, the seven sorrows, and the seven deadly sins. It was our way of trying to make sense of how fucking nuts the world is and the astounding chaos we find ourselves in. It’s the record we felt that we had to make at this time.”
The North American tour with Tears For Fears begins May 20th in Cincinnati and runs through the month of June. You can get your summer started off right and catch Garbage gracing the local stage of the Forum in Inglewood on June 4th.

While supporting Tears for Fears on this tour, we are sure there will be an equal amount of Garbage fans wanting to hear Manson’s Scottish accent while she speaks between songs while rocking out to their masterpieces and re-issued hits!
