The Glastonbury Festival is back – via livestream – and Coldplay will take on headlining duties for the May 22nd event. Joining Coldplay with be Haim, Damon Albarn, Idles, Jorja Smith, Kano, Michael Kiwanuka, Wolf Alice, and DJ Honey Dijon round out the announced performers.
After canceling the massive live festival due to the pandemic, the organizers decided a global livestream would help get us through until next year. The five-hour event, Live at Worthy Farm, will be spread across four time zones to ensure reasonable viewing times. Proceeds from the show will benefit Oxfam, Greenpeace, and WaterAid, plus help gear the organization up for a return to live events for 2022.
