It’s TOTAL MADNESS as Goldenvoice and AEG Shut Down Events Indefinitely
MARCH 17, 2020 BY Tommy Johnson
As the world of entertainment turns, more and more events further into 2020 continue to be postponed or be cancelled outright. Last week saw a flurry of sports franchises that shut it down, while concert tour and festivals after concert tour and festivals were postponed or canceled all together. pearl Jam, the Stones and even entertainment juggernaut LiveNation cancelled events. Events throughout the country and across-the-pond were also adversely impacted. Earlier this week we got the news that Punk Rock Bowling in Vegas which featured the return of MADNESS also got the bump.
So far 2020 has been tough for everyone, especially for musicians and show promoters. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but the organizers are doing the right thing.

AND NOW, entertainment powerhouses Goldenvoice and AEG announced that they would be postponing their shows indefinitely as a result of concerns over the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. This includes the much anticipated Cruel World Festival scheduled to take place May 2nd in Los Angeles.
If anyone would have said a few weeks ago that Goldenvoice or one of the artist on the bill would not show, the smart money wouldn’t have been on Goldenvoice. What a strange time we live in. As for the postponement; Goldenvoice said through their website that “due to COVID-19 all Goldenvoice events have been postponed indefinitely.”
