Who knew that the name of a fictional pop band mentioned in “A Clockwork Orange” would still be the talk of the town in 2022? Suffice it to say, life is stranger than fiction as Heaven 17 has re-rescheduled and expanded their first ever North American tour which will kick-off in September.
It is hard to believe it took all this time and a pandemic before Glenn Gregory and Martyn Ware would finally make it across the pond in their original incarnation of Heaven 17! Best known for their mega hits “Let Me Go,” “Temptation,” and “(We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang,” the band last released an album in 2008, but has mentioned working on a new album just a few years ago.

In addition to their own music, Heaven 17 was included on the historic “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” as part of Band Aid in 1984, plus helped Tina Turner gain new fame with “Let’s Stay Together.” They have been working non-stop with artists all over the world as producers and partners.
The electro pop duo will visit the Southland for multiple dates with their first SoCal show on September 29th when they pay a visit to the Belasco in Los Angeles. They will then head south down the I-5 to the House of Blues San Diego on September 30th before they traverse back up the I-5 to the Observatory in Santa Ana on October 1st.
The We Don’t Need This Fascist Groove Thangtour has been expanded to 15 dates and VIP packages are available, so snag this opportunity to see them before the head back home!
