Now that the summer concert season is fully upon us, Hot Water Music is back at it! What is even better; they are out with new music.
Feel the void can mean many things to many people, especially in the summer of ’22. “Feel the Void,” just happens to be the name of HWM’s 9th LP. With COVID kind of around but not really, or not really but kinda, music fans of all ages are coming out again to see their favorite bands!
If you are not as familiar with the names associated with the kick-ass music, HWM is from Gainesville, Florida. They formed in ’93 and have been entertaining us with hits like “Never Going Back,” “Remedy,” “Vultures,” “Drag My Body,” “State of Grace,” and more recently, “Turn the Dial,” “Habitual,” and “Collect Your Things and Run.”
About the new album, this is the message from the bands website:
Massive thanks to everyone who helped make this a reality, especially Equal Vision, End Hits, Brian McTernan and Ryan Williams. This is the record we’ve always hoped to make. We hope you all love it as much as we do.
XOXO
Chuck, Jason, Chris, George, and Chris
If you haven’t seen HWM live, they are a must-see band. They are poetry in motion with an electric kick! The band features Chuck Ragan (guitar & vocals), Chris Wollard (guitar & vocals), Jason Black (bass), Chris Cresswell (guitar & vocals), and Georg Rebelo (drums).
