Love him or hate him, one thing is for sure – John Mayer is a lightning rod for just about everything. Luckily for all of us, his heart is always in the right place. Case in point: his announcement regarding a special show at The Wiltern in Los Angeles next week.
With undeniable great music in tow, we all know Mayer’s solo acoustic tour is set in stone and happening everywhere USA. What’s a little different? He just added another show; that part isn’t so out of the ordinary. But what is the reason he is adding another show?
Mayer will play a one-off show at The Wiltern and 100% of the proceeds will benefit his Heart and Armor Foundation for veterans. Mayer established the Heart and Armor Foundation in 2019 to support the health of veterans of war.
Tickets start at $99 and go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. Fans must check out Ticketmaster ahead of the concert and register through the Verified Fan program to receive a code before buying tickets, and all tickets will be mobile only and non-transferable.
Fans can expect to hear Mayer favorites like “Your Body is a Wonderland,” “Last Train Home,” “No Such Thing,” “Stop This Train,” “In Your Atmosphere,” “Still Feel Like Your Man,” and “Gravity.”
Mayer is definitely an artist that marches to the beat of his own drum, and it is refreshing to say the least. Reports are he is having the time of his life on this tour, and I invite you to snatch up that positive energy and check it out for yourself.
