KISS Postpones Tour Dates

FivePoint Amphitheatre Show Not Affected

August 31, 2021 by Traci Turner

On the heels of the news that front-man Paul Stanley had tested positive for COVID, KISS has postponed their next four shows.
Although Stanley states he has recovered, Gene Simmons has just tested positive, leading to this change of plans. Simmons is currently experiencing mild symptoms and the remaining band and crew will self-isolate in their homes for 10 days. The entire band and crew are fully vaccinated.
Per the band’s website, “doctors have indicated the tour should be able to resume on September 9th at FivePoint Amphitheatre in Irvine, CA.”
Last week, there were rumors Stanley’s condition was serious and put him in ICU, but he let fans know via Twitter: “PEOPLE!!! I am fine! I am not in ICU! My heart allows me to do 26 miles a day on my bike! I don’t know where this came from but it’s absolute nonsense.”
KISS had just hit the road with their farewell tour dubbed the End of the Road Tour. While they have been taking precautions, even avoiding fan interaction, the virus continues to ruin our fun.
