There are concerts, then… there are concerts! Colossal rock and roll legends, KISS have announced they will “Kiss 2020 Goodbye” with a concert event on December 31, New Year’s Eve.
They will use 50+ cameras giving us a 360-degree view and be shot at Atlantis in Dubai.
KISS is best known for their era defining music with larger than life epic longs like “Calling Dr. Love,” “Strutter,” “Beth,” “Lick It Up,” “Rocker Ride,” “Hard Luck Woman,” “Love Gun,” “Go of Thunder,” “Deuce,” “Detroit Rock City,” and….
KISS announced the earth shattering event with this, “To send off 2020 in their larger-than-life style on New Year’s Eve, the iconic Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, multi-platinum selling band is reigniting the FIRE and roaring back to life! In true KISS fashion, they are bringing the biggest & baddest concert event and pyrotechnics show of the year, proving once again, that KISS never does anything small. The massive stage production and FREE pre-show will be brought directly into your living room at 9 pm LIVE from Atlantis Dubai on December 31st!”
The concert producers say they will attempt to set the world’s record for the largest pyrotechnics.  You can watch this history in the making with a ticket purchase on any computer, mobile device or Apple TV.
While KISS is in the midst of their End of the Road (farewell) tour, front-man Paul Stanley had this to say, “We realize that we can’t be who we are forever, and that time impacts everybody. You can play ‘beat the clock’; ultimately, the clock wins. And while we’re at our best, and the reviews and the fans will speak louder than I will, that this is really the greatest show we’ve ever done. And proudly we can go out there and have a victory celebration. It’s kind of like that victory lap where you run around with your hands up.”
There’s always hope that you will be able to watch your favorite rock stars preform forever but in the midst of this pandemic, I think we’ve all come to appreciate live music with far more than ever before which makes this even more of a can-not-miss-event!
