KLOS & St. Jude 2022

February 17, 2022 by Traci Turner
In 2021, KLOS held their 4th annual St. Jude Rocks Radiothon and raised nearly $900,000 thanks to the loyal listeners of 95.5 KLOS. It was a remarkable accomplishment because we were in the midst of the pandemic.
In 2020, KLOS raised over 1 Million dollars, which was the Rock Radio record for St. Jude. The question is can we smash that goal in 2022? KLOS is sure it can be beat and is aiming for an incredible goal of… 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS!
We all know someone (directly or indirectly) who has a child that has suffered from illnesses which are horrific by any form of measurement. In 2022, this country is still held by divisiveness over one thing or another. When it comes to children, that is a subject we are all on the same page. Helping the hands that help the children and their families has no border, political affiliation, race, sex or anything we argue about these days. This event is one we can all get behind, no matter who we are and what our beliefs are.

That all being said, the 5th annual Radiothon kicked off today and you can partner with KLOS to raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The money raised will support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in their We Won’t Stop movement to find cures and save children.

Help St. Jude

This year’s two-day event is also the 69th anniversary of St. Jude and KLOS is making sure it is a big one. Last year’s fundraiser included participation from Gene Simmons, Metallica, Dirty Honey, and Daughtry, so tune into 95.5-FM KLOS to find out which incredible artists are taking part in 2022.
You can join the We Won’t Stop movement and become a partner in hope by pledging $19 per month to help kids at St. Jude fight cancer. Besides being an amazing person, you will receive a KLOS St. Jude Rocks hoodie and a Love Music Stop Cancer t-shirt.
Now, let’s go crush some goals!
