Knott’s Berry Farm | Marketplace Shops and Restaurants Open Up
June 10, 2020 by Jessica Shaw
2020 is definitely a year we won’t forget anytime soon. The Global Pandemic known as Coronavirus has hit us very hard. The total impact in loss of life, sanity and our economy has been devastating to say the least. Despite the stay at home orders in place nationwide, we’re starting to see some places that help us cope with life beginning to re-open. It’s just going to look a little different for the foreseeable future.
Concerts are still an unknown, we’re getting a peak at what sporting events may look like over the next year. Amusement parks are also looking to re-open. Some may open up sooner than others, but the bottom line is they are coming back.
As for the park itself, the re-opening date remains uncertain. However, on Monday June 8th Knott’s re-opened many of its Marketplace shops and restaurants. Knott’s is a staple of Orange County, known as “America’s 1st theme park.”
Knott’s announcement of the re-opening of resident’s favorite places is a source of joy. For many, the anticipation of the park re-opening can only be satisfied by some of the best food around.
Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant and their classic chicken dinner, complete with mashed potatoes, fresh biscuits, and–of course–the best jam around, is alone worth the trip to Buna Park. Using the same homemade recipes since 1934, Mrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant is sure to make you feel hungry and nostalgic all at once. The incredible rhubarb pie and many flavors of jam are also sold at their other locations to take home.
Knott’s has asked that everyone visiting the Marketplace shops and restaurants wear a mask, except while eating. Knott’s Berry Farm is currently working with health and safety experts and the park’s full reopen date is unknown at this time.
Marketplace hours and available locations vary. To stay updated on the latest information visit the Knott’s website.
