The boys are back in town! The band that gave us “My Own Worst Enemy” and “Miserable” just announced a hometown show at House of Blues Anaheim on June 17!
From Lit’s Twitter: SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT Mark your calendars! First of many big announcements for this date! Join us for a very special homecoming show!
If this is just the beginning of “many big” announcements from Lit, we are eager to see what else is in store.
The SoCal band is still fronted by Ajay Popoff, with his brother Jeremy on lead guitar, bassist Kevin Baldes, and drummer Taylor Carroll.

In October of last year, Lit dropped “Yeah Yeah Yeah!,” a new single off their upcoming album. At the time, Jeremy told us, “’Yeah Yeah Yeah’ was one of the first of the new batch of songs. We hooked up with Carlo Colasacco and Eric Paquette and set out to capture the vibe and spirit of old school Lit, but with a modern production approach.”
“Yeah Yeah Yeah” is an energetic track that instantly puts you in a good mood and Jeremy further explained, “The whole record will come out next spring. We’re about 80 percent done. Just a couple more to finish some tracks on and finish mixing. We’re super pumped about the new batch of songs. It’s a jammer!”
SoCal got a dose of Lit when they headlined Boo Ha Ha with MEST and Handsome Devil. The band will head to the U.K. next month with Bowling For Soup and The Dollyrots joining them. Once they return to our shores, they will tour the US and hit Anaheim near the end of the route.
Go snag your tickets now and let’s ponder what else they could spring on us…
