Thanks to the pandemic shutdowns being behind us, there is an explosion of concerts in the music world these days. With so many incredible shows – many on the same night – it can be very hard to stand out, but Matisyahu is aiming to do just that.
Since his launch into the foray of music, he has done it all. He has sold over five million hard copy albums, and with over 500 million total career streams across all global platforms. In other words, he is as legit as it gets.
Born in Pennsylvania as Matthew Paul Miller, we best know him as Matisyahu. Depending on who you ask, he took this name for a variety of reasons, but one thing is certain – it translates in Hebrew to “Gift of God.” With a soothing disposition to those who come to his shows, and like a muse, he delivers his brand of infused reggae, rock, hip-hop and beatbox to the masses, along with his inspirational messages.
Depending on who you ask, he took this name for a variety of reason and sources. No matter what the angle is, one thing is certain, it translates in Hebrew to “Gift of God.”

Recently, Miller played two enormously successful festivals in California – Cali Vines and Cali Roots. With the enormous crowds in attendance for those shows, he gained new fans as they watched him deliver the profound words in “King Without a Crown” and “One Day.” As for those who already loved his work, the experience was one of the most surreal moments in recent history for his legions of fans.
Matisyahu will bring his unique sound to the House of Blues Anaheim on June 15th, and he is also including friends DENM and Cydeways as openers. I won’t go as far as saying it will be a religious experience if you see him, but I will say it will move your heart and soul
Doors open at 7 p.m., so don’t be late as this one will be an epic night of meaningful music.
