Last Thursday, the House of Blues Anaheim showcased an exceptional lineup of musical talent, featuring the reggae rock and hip-hop prowess of Cydeways, DENM, and Matisyahu.

Nestled within the picturesque Garden Walk district of Anaheim, the House of Blues Anaheim provided a stunning setting for this awe-inspiring musical journey. With its exquisite design and cutting-edge facilities, the venue allowed the audience to fully immerse themselves in the magical atmosphere of the night.

The kicked-off with Cydeways, the dynamic band known for seamlessly blending reggae and rock.

Their captivating performance set the stage for an unforgettable evening, filling the venue with infectious rhythms and soulful melodies that resonated deep within the crowd’s hearts. Tracks like “Shadow” and “Are You Down” showcased Cydeways’ unique musicality, leaving an indelible mark on the eager listeners.

DENM took the stage next, delivering his signature blend of hip hop and alternative rock. As he mesmerized the crowd with his impassioned performance, the evening took an unexpected turn. DENM delighted the audience with an outstanding rendition of Sublime’s classic anthem, “Badfish.”

The crowd erupted with excitement as DENM breathed new life into the beloved classic, infusing it with his own unique style and energy. It was a true testament to DENM’s artistry and his ability to reimagine well-known songs with a fresh perspective.
As the night progressed, anticipation grew for the grand finale featuring Matisyahu. Backed by Cydeways as his band, Matisyahu took the stage, infusing the venue with his spiritual presence and captivating vocal prowess. Opening with classics for the faithful, “Jerusalem,” “Searchin’,” “Confidence,” and “Sunshine.”

The crowd took it up an octave as the master of all the is cool in reggae fusion captured the audience with his dynamic stage presence and songs that demonstrated his vocal range, “Got No Water,” and his epic hit “One Day.”

Hits such as “King Without a Crown” and “Surrender” had the crowd singing along in unison, their voices merging into a harmonious chorus of unity to close the night. The collaborative finale between Matisyahu and Cydeways was a true spectacle, leaving the audience in awe of the musical mastery unfolding before their eyes. As Cydeways seamlessly transitioned from being the opening act to becoming Matisyahu’s backing band, the energy in the room reached new heights.

As the night drew to a close, the beauty of the House of Blues Anaheim lingered in the memories of all who were fortunate enough to witness this extraordinary musical convergence.
