With all the weirdness happening throughout the world, who would have thought Metallica would bring some much needed brevity to us all, but here we are!
It’s time for Metallica’s two-night L.A. stint of their M72 World Tour. With Los Angeles being their home – well, by way of Downey – these SoCal natives are ready to bring the wood.
With life and era-defining songs, “Enter Sandman,” “One,” “Nothing Else Matters,” “Fade to Black,” “Master of Puppets,” “The Unforgiven,” “Sear and Destroy,” and more recently “72 Seasons,” supporting their 11th studio album of the same name “72 Seasons.” The ass-kicking office of Hetfield and Ulrich is open for business.
I’ve been lucky enough to have covered this legendary band many times, and I can attest it is a pilgrimage: a spiritual event any music lover must attend at least once! This epic tour is coming to SoFi Stadium for their “No Repeat Weekend.”
The opening acts are just as entertaining and they two will provide a sonic blast.
In one corner we have Pantera and in the other is Wolfgang Van Halen’s monster, MammothWVH – they will play night 1 (August 25th).
On night 2 we get Five Finger Death Punch and Ice Nine Kills (August 27th).
It will be an event that could blow the roof off of SoFi. Ready, set, go because Metallica is coming!
