Metallica’s music may be hard, but their hearts are not.
You can experience both in person in December at Microsoft Theater when the band hosts their third Helping Hands Concert & Auction.
According to the band: “We’re psyched to be celebrating the achievements of All Within My Hands together with you, live and in person! Our friends Greta Van Fleet will be kicking off the show with a special acoustic set.”

The All Within My Hands Foundation was created by the band in 2017 and has donated more than $5.8 million to charities so far. According to the band, “100% of ticket and auction proceeds will benefit the Foundation and will combat food insecurity, provide funds in areas of natural disaster, and support workforce education.”
known worldwide for their activism, it should come as no surprise that this iconic band will cover in full all of the concert expenses. These legends want to ensure that proceeds are directed to those in need.
Metallica will of course put on a phenomenal show worth every penny. You can expect to hear classics like “Enter Sandman,” “The Memory Remains,” “Sad but True,” “Whiskey in the Jar,” “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” “Seek & Destroy,” and the song that has shot back up in popularity thanks to “Stranger Things,” “Master of Puppets.”
Greta Van Fleet has been selling out shows since their 2017 debut EP, “Black Smoke Rising,” with its runaway hit “Highway Tune.” Their second EP, “From the Fires,” continued their upward trajectory and scored them a Grammy for Best Rock Album. Their 2021 album “The Battle at Garden’s Gate” has shown they are not losing steam, so we expect their acoustic set will be nothing less than spectacular. GVF will play a show at Honda Center November 11th.
Tickets just went on sale for the December 16th show and there are special VIP packages available.
Make plans to see the monsters of rock showing their gentler side in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater.
